When a Sub-Zero stops cooling or a dishwasher is leaking onto your hardwood, the problem is on a clock. We prioritize no-cooling and active-leak calls across Sutton Place and the surrounding neighborhoods, and we schedule during confirmed business hours so an urgent failure does not sit over a weekend.
What Counts as Urgent
- A refrigerator or freezer that has stopped cooling with food at risk
- An appliance leaking water onto floors or into cabinetry
- A gas range or cooktop with an ignition or gas-valve problem
- An oven stuck in a locked self-clean cycle before an event
- A wine unit that has failed with a valuable collection inside
IF You Smell Gas
Shut off the gas supply, ventilate the room, do not operate any switches, and if the odor is strong leave and call your gas utility. Schedule the ignition or valve repair once the area is safe.
What to Do While You Wait
For a warm refrigerator, move perishables to a cooler and keep the doors closed. For a leak, shut off the nearest water supply and dry the area to protect your floors. For an ice maker overflow, close the shutoff valve on its water line. These steps protect your home without risk to the appliance.
